Nagare Coffee opens at Triptych Bankside, marking final chapter of landmark transformation story
Nagare Coffee has just opened its new coffee shop at Triptych Bankside, the landmark mixed-use destination developed by JTRE London.
The opening of the 1,782 sq ft space marks Nagare Coffee’s third location in London following Spitalfields and Soho. The new space at Triptych Bankside is now Nagare Coffee’s flagship store due to its size and excellent location.
Nagare, which means to ‘flow’ in Japanese, focuses on premium beans and a menu offering a variety of single-origin, hand-filtered coffee from around the world. As well as coffee, it will offer Asian baked goods and small homeware products.
Nagare Coffee joins wellness space operator Solo60, Uncommon Deli and rock climbing and fitness gym The Font as part of the development’s varied retail mix, as well as Art Academy London’s new campus which is now operational.
Dora Lau, co-founder of Nagare Coffee, comments: “We are excited to open the doors to our third Nagare Coffee shop, our new flagship store due to its perfect location and size. We’re looking forward to serving the local community and getting to know our neighbours. Triptych Bankside has brought new vitality to this part of the city and we’re pleased to be a part of this exciting transformation story.”
Florence Wangai, Head of Asset Management at JTRE London, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Nagare Coffee to Triptych Bankside. They are the final piece of the puzzle and complete the exciting retail mix which has been curated here; a huge thanks must go to our commercial agents Savills and Lunson Mitchenall.
“Walking around the site today, there is a real buzz as residents, office workers, neighbours and the wider community enjoy the new public realm and businesses located here. It’s A remarkable transformation from what as an underutilised plot with a vacant empty office building and no public access through the site.
