Triptych Bankside celebrates 100% retail space occupancy

Triptych Bankside Retail 100% Leased

Triptych Bankside has confirmed that all retail units at the scheme are now leased, following the successful signing of Solo60 and Nagare Cafe.

Solo60 (628 sq ft) and Nagare Cafe (1,728 sq ft), have recently signed leases to occupy the remaining retail units, joining existing retail occupiers Uncommon Deli (1,466 sq ft) and rock climbing and fitness gym, The Font (6,774 sq ft). The Font has also recently agreed the lease to take extended space in Triptych Bankside with a further 2,080 sq ft. The expansion will allow them to offer further bouldering walls, bookable studio spaces and event space.

Nigel Fleming, Managing Director at JTRE London, comments: “This is an exceptional milestone in our journey at Triptych Bankside, with high demand across retail, office and residential space reflecting the combination of exceptional design, quality and location. The commercial team at Savills and Lunson Mitchenall have worked incredibly hard at attracting new retailers to Bankside, a significant achievement in such a testing market.

We are delighted how the estate has come together, offering residents and tenants alike a range of amenities; from wellness, education and culture, to baked goods and coffee all the way to an all-day eatery and deli. Triptych Bankside really fits within the wider Bankside area as a vibrant and distinctive destination.”

Solo60 offers a network of exclusive micro-gyms and therapy spaces for people and professionals to book solo, with friends or to train and treat clients from 60 minutes. The new studio at Triptych Bankside marks its sixth in London – with its portfolio already including studios in Bank, its flagship studio in Shoreditch, Tower Bridge, Spitalfields and Vauxhall. Residents at Triptych Bankside will receive a discount offer to sign up to be a Solo60 member with a planned opening in late October.

Ben Alderton, founder and CEO at Solo60, comments: “We are extremely pleased to have signed an agreement with JTRE London to open a new Solo60 studio at Triptych Bankside. We are on a mission to create a thriving network for on demand wellness spaces across London. The location of Triptych Bankside is unrivalled and suits exactly what we were looking for from the outset. Triptych Bankside is definitely the perfect place for us to open a new Solo60 studio.”

Nagare’s new space at Triptych Bankside marks it second shop in London, triple the size of its existing site in Spitalfields market and will become its flagship store due to its size and excellent location. As well as Japanese inspired tea, Nagare will offer coffee, Asian baked goods and small homeware products.

Dora Lau, co-founder of Nagare, comments: “We are thrilled to have signed an agreement to open our second Nagare Cafe at Triptych Bankside. The new shop, which we’re aiming to open in early 2025, will be our flagship store due to its perfect location and it will be our biggest store to date. The team at JTRE London have been amazing to work with, and we’re looking forward to welcoming customers and the local community to enjoy our distinct range of tea, coffee and baked goods in early 2025.”

Uncommon Deli has also recently opened its new store at Triptych Bankside. Serving coffee and breakfast in the morning, to gourmet deli style sandwiches or salads at lunchtime, through to a range of wine and spirits in the evening, the neighbourhood deli has much to offer.

The news follows the opening of Art Academy’s new campus at Triptych Bankside. The new space, adjacent to Tate Modern, has opened its doors to new and existing students as well as the wider local community. Set over two floors, the 15,000 sq ft. campus includes teaching facilities including nine studios, an auditorium and specialist workshop spaces. It also has an onsite 2,000 sq ft gallery which is open to the public.
